The Youth University is an exciting initiative that was introduced in Helenswood School in January 2008 and primarily takes place on Saturday mornings from 10.00am to 12.30pm at the Lower School. Summer school activities have also been organised. New activities are also anticipated to run at the same time at HCAT and UCH to cater for more advanced skills.
A range of different club type activities are arranged over 5 weeks culminating in a ‘Graduation’ to which parents are invited. Past activities have included Supersleuth involving Sussex Police, Safari Art, Sweets and Treats (Cooking),Tae Kwon do, Pens on Fire (Creative Writing) and Blast Off (Rocket Making ).
