Music at Helenswood School
Key Stage 3 Music
In KS3 music lessons, all students have the opportunity to experience hands-on music making. In line with the national curriculum for music, they will compose and perform a wide range music from different cultures and in different styles. This practical work will be used to underpin and develop their understanding of the language of music and, in doing so, allow them to be more confident, disciplined and sensitive citizens. It will also provide the necessary skills and knowledge for successful transition to KS4 music courses.
