Co-Curricular Activities at Helenswood School
Helenswood School is proud of the broad range of extra-curricular activities which are offered through clubs.
Listed are the current range of clubs which are on offer, mostly from September 2009. These are also listed on the school website, which will reflect any future updates to the club calendar, as well as any events taking place outside the school timetable such as Youth University Saturday morning events.
The wide range of club activities allows students to develop existing interests, promote new skills and support curricular learning. Virtually all activities are free. We would like your support in ensuring that your daughter has made adequate provision for transport home following after school activities. A register is taken for all clubs so we are able to confim your daughter’s attendance at any time via the main school telephone numbers.

Many other extra curricular activities are specifically linked to school events and have included preparations for and performances in such varied events as ‘The Show, Spring & Dance Shows, Candles by Candlelight – a senior citizens’ Christmas party, the Summer Fair, dance performances in the town centre and musical performances at the local hospital
