Cashless Catering at Helenswood School

Starting from the 15th of October Helenswood School will be switching over to the improved Cashless catering method for school dinner payment.

This new system provides many benefits for you and your daughter as well as allowing the school to provide a more efficient system, which helps the caterers provide wholesome, healthy and enjoyable meals for the lowest cost.

There will be no more problems with students losing money, no more having to find change every morning, and the benefits of reduced queuing times and anonymity for free school meal recipients.

Using the system is easy, with the link to ParentPay below you can deposit funds into your daughters account for instant use in school. For those without the means to 'top up' online, various other solutions are available to make the system accessible to all.

School Menus

Lunch menus are planned in advance in 5 week blocks. Each day normally has 3 choices of main meal with at least one of these being a vegetarian option. Every effort goes into making these meals nutritious and balanced and they always help towards part of a childs 5-a-day diet. Certain themes exist, with Wednesday a traditional roast dinner and Friday's meal based around fish.

Alternatives to the main meal are always available in the form of jacket potatoes, sandwiches or a box of salad from the salad bar.

From time to time changes are made to the pre-planned menu and suitable substitutions are made accordingly.
